Our company was founded in Hradec Králové in 1991. Thirty years ago, we started developing, manufacturing and distributing medical devices for the gastrointestinal tract. We wanted patients suffering from serious diseases to have a chance for an easier and more comfortable way of treatment or relief in the last months of their lives.
STEP BY STEP WE GO FURTHER
Over the years, the one-man start-up company has gradually become a competitive company with dozens of employees, bringing several unique products to market. Thanks to indomitable diligence, ELLA-CS has gradually become one of the leading manufacturers of medical devices in the Czech Republic, and one of the leading suppliers of medical devices for the gastrointestinal tract in the world.
We have always adhered to the philosophy that product quality and customer satisfaction are the key to building successful and long-term mutual trust. We strive to be an active partner of physicians in the experimental and clinical field. We try to respond flexibly to their requirements and to the patients needs. We help the patients to restore hope for a life without limitations and, thus, our work has a higher importance and brings added value to society.
Our long-term goal is to launch on the market other biodegradable stents not only for indications in the gastrointestinal tract, but also in the airways and other organs, and thus become a global expert in biodegradable stents.
WE ARE NOT ALONE
We must not forget to thank all our employees. We have colleagues in our team who have been with ELLA-CS for 10, 20 and even more than 25 years. Such a long time on one side will build more than just a working partnership. We have become a family that we hold in high esteem and are justifiably proud of it. We thank all current and former employees who have been through ELLA these 30 years and helped us advance it at least a little further.
